At CES 2026, Motorola unveiled the slim flagship smartphone Signature, which launches a new premium line.

What is known

In terms of design, the Motorola Signature almost completely mimics the Edge series with its characteristic square camera block and Pantone Carbon and Pantone Martini Olive body colors.

The main advantage is that despite excellent specs, the device remains thin — just 6.99 mm thick.

Technical specifications of Motorola Signature

The Motorola Signature features a 6.8” Extreme AMOLED display with a resolution of 2780×1264, a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz, and LTPO. The panel supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The peak brightness reaches an impressive 6200 nits, and the touch layer works at a frequency of up to 360 Hz and supports operation with wet fingers.

The high performance is provided by the top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 standard storage.

The Motorola Signature will ship with pre-installed Android 16 and, for the first time in brand history, receive seven years of system and security patch updates, making it one of the most long-lasting flagships on the market.

The device is equipped with a 5200 mAh battery with support for 90W TurboPower wired charging, 50W wireless and reverse charging — 10W wirelessly and 5W via cable. The manufacturer states up to 41 hours of battery life, up to 28 hours of video viewing, 18 hours of gaming, and up to six hours of 4K video recording.

The Motorola Signature offers four 50 MP cameras (front, main with Sony LYT-828 sensor, ultra-wide lens, and a periscope module with 3x zoom). Photo enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the smartphone supports video recording in 8K Dolby Vision 30 fps and 4K Dolby Vision up to 60 fps, as well as slow-motion shooting in 4K 120 fps.

The back panel is available in textured variants mimicking fabric, the frame is made of aviation aluminum, and the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 coating.

It has been confirmed that the Signature will be Motorola's first flagship with stylus support.

The smartphone complies with IP69/IP68 and MIL-STD-810H standards, making it one of the most protected flagships on the market. Other features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Bose tuning, Bluetooth 6, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, a triple microphone set, ThinkShield, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, and dual SIM support.

The Motorola Signature will go on sale in Europe later this year. The price for the 16+512 GB version will be €999.
