At CES 2026, Motorola, besides the flagship smartphone Signature, showcased its first foldable gadget in Fold format — previously Razr lineup smartphones were only released in Flip models.

What is known

The smartphone is equipped with an internal 8.09” LTPO display with a 2K resolution (2480×2200) and a 120Hz refresh rate, which transforms the device into a compact tablet when unfolded. Outside, there is a 6.56” OLED screen with the same 120Hz frequency, allowing the smartphone to be used in folded form without restrictions.

Motorola focused on cameras: Razr Fold received a triple 50 MP system, which includes a main module with optical stabilization, a periscope telephoto lens with 3× optical zoom, and an ultra-wide-angle camera. 8K video recording is supported at 30 fps. For selfies, there are two cameras — 32 MP on the external screen and 20 MP on the internal one.

One of the key features is the support for the new Moto Pen Ultra stylus, which recognizes tilt, pressure, and comes with a charging case. The stylus is designed specifically for the Razr Fold and Motorola's flagship Signature line.

The smartphone also features Motorola's proprietary AI functions, including Catch Me Up and Next Move, which help with notification management and context suggestions. At launch, the Razr Fold will be available in two colors: Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White.

Motorola has not yet disclosed the price, chipset, and battery capacity — these details will be announced closer to release. Sales are expected later in 2026.
