Revealed the architecture foundation and likely release dates of GeForce RTX 60-series graphics cards
The first information about Nvidia's plans to release the next generation of graphics cards — GeForce RTX 60-series has appeared online.
What is known
According to scattered data, the GeForce RTX 60-series will be based on the Rubin architecture. It is mentioned that consumer models will receive graphics chips of the GR20x series (including the GR202, GR203 models, and others).
Nvidia will adhere to a strategy of releasing graphics cards for different tasks, so gaming models will differ from chips for data centers, allowing to avoid their shortage.
The release of the Blackwell successor is planned for the second half of 2027. Most likely, at CES 2027, Nvidia will officially present the RTX 60.
Some quick assumptions about @Nvidia's new Rubin CPX. Quiet similar to GB202, with some obvious changes to the GPCs. Looks like it has full raster units (full GPU) with up to 256 ROPs. Could this be the RTX 6090? (even though Rubin was supposed to be AI only) pic.twitter.com/EBRYpH39VB
