Official: Xbox Developer_Direct on January 22 with news about Fable, Forza Horizon 6, and a new game from the creators of Pokémon
Microsoft revealed the date of the annual Developer_Direct presentation, where creators share details of their games in a cozy atmosphere.
What is known
The show will start on January 22 at 19:00 (CET).
This year, the main focus will be on Playground studio, as they are preparing to release two games at once — the long-awaited RPG Fable (2026) and the ambitious racing game Forza Horizon 6, which will transport gamers to Japan for the first time.
Additionally, the Japanese studio Game Freak — the creator of the Pokémon series — will share information about the action game Beast of Reincarnation, which was announced in the summer of 2025.
The Xbox Developer_Direct usually features a fourth "secret" game, so it is expected that Microsoft will have a surprise this time as well.
