Mini-PC can be gaming: Asus introduced the ROG GR70 with a flagship Ryzen 9 processor and GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop
Asus decided to disprove the belief that there are no decent gaming mini-PCs and brought the ROG GR70 to the CES 2026 show—a model that can match the specs of top gaming laptops.
What is known
ROG GR70 is a compact yet extremely powerful system aimed at gamers and streamers. The device combines a mobile flagship AMD processor and NVIDIA graphics card in a case with a volume of only 3 liters, making it one of the most powerful mini-PCs on the market.
ROG GR70 is equipped with a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor with 3D V-Cache technology, which ensures high performance in games and work tasks. In higher configurations, a GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop graphics card is used, and in more affordable ones—an RTX 5060 Laptop.
The cooling system includes three fans, allowing temperatures to be kept in check even during long gaming sessions. Modern wireless modules Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 are also provided.
The maximum amount of RAM reaches 96 GB, and inside there are two SODIMM DDR5 slots and two M.2 2280 connectors for SSDs—one supporting the PCIe 5.0 standard, the second—PCIe 4.0.
Asus has not yet announced the price of the global version, but in China, the device is already on sale starting at $2000.
