Sony has introduced a new collection of accessories for PlayStation 5 called Hyperpop — a bright series of panels and DualSense controllers with a neon gradient. The lineup became the first major stylistic update for PS5 in 2026.

What's known

Hyperpop includes three color options:

  • Techno Red,
  • Remix Green,
  • Rhythm Blue.

Each design features a glossy black body that smoothly transitions into a rich neon shade.

The collection was created by a team of Sony designers who aimed to “bring brightness and energy to the gaming space,” drawing inspiration from the visual trends of modern gaming peripherals, and the neon gradient style only emphasizes the RGB lighting aesthetic.

The new Hyperpop series will be available for purchase on March 12, 2026, with pre-orders starting on January 16.

The DualSense controller will cost buyers $85, and $75 will have to be paid for the PS5 panels.

Important note! Hyperpop panels are only compatible with PS5 Slim and will not fit the first console models or PlayStation 5 Pro.
