Introducing Meizu 22 Next: a compact AI gadget that remembers the user's mood
At the Meizu Fans Spring Festival 2026, an unusual gadget for deep interaction with AI and control of other devices was introduced.
The model is called Meizu 22 Next, and it is unofficially referred to as the “AI Cube,” although it is essentially a small flat square device with a screen and camera.
What is known
Meizu 22 Next is equipped with a 4” display and a rear camera, combining the functions of a smart assistant and a mini-terminal for AI agents. The device runs on Flyme AIOS, supports the launch of multiple AI agents, and even their interaction with each other to perform complex tasks.
The main feature of the novelty is emotional artificial intelligence: the device offers more than 100 interfaces with emotions, learns in the process of communication, and forms an “AI memory of reactions” to ensure the most comfortable interaction with the user. The gadget remembers the owner's identity, mood, and even health status to give personalized recommendations, reminders, and provide emotional support.
Meizu 22 Next can also serve as a control center for the ecosystem: the gadget can control smartphones, smart homes, cars, and other brand devices. The manufacturer positions the novelty as a new format for a personal AI assistant.
Thanks to accessories, the “AI Cube” can be carried with you, used on a special stand on the table, or in a car, where it transforms into a portable assistant.
The release dates and price of the Meizu 22 Next are still unknown.
