MSI has introduced its new flagship SSD — the Spatium M571 DLP, aimed at high-performance PCs and workstations. The new device features a PCIe 5.0 interface, record-breaking speeds, and a proprietary data protection system.

What is known

The MSI Spatium M571 DLP is made in the M.2 2280 form factor and unveils the potential of PCIe 5.0: the sequential reading speed reaches 14 GB/s, and writing — 11 GB/s. At the core of the device is 218-layer 3D NAND memory and a Phison E28 controller, created using a 6-nanometer process, ensuring high energy efficiency and operational stability.

The key feature of the SSD is the Data Loss Protection (DLP) technology — a hardware system for preventing data loss during sudden power outages or electrical disconnections. MSI emphasizes that this solution is aimed at professional tasks where data integrity is critical.

The drive will be available in 1, 2, and 4 TB versions, with a warranty period of 5 years. The model is characterized by reduced power consumption — up to 50% lower than previous generations of Gen5 SSDs.

The release of Spatium M571 DLP is likely to take place later in 2026, but there is no official confirmation from MSI yet.
