The year 2026 has just begun, and the most popular gaming service Steam has already set its second record.
What is Known
According to the SteamDB service statistics, on January 11, more than 42 million people were simultaneously connected to the Valve platform, and 13.4 million people were directly in games.
Notably, this result was achieved without major releases. Obviously, a significant portion of the players are accounted for by four mega-popular online games: Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, ARC Raiders, and PUBG.
The previous Steam attendance record was set on January 5 and was 41.8 million players.
