Casio introduced WS1800 — 'eternal' sports watches in retro style for just $40
Casio has introduced a new line of digital watches WS1800, which combines retro aesthetics, sports functionality, and impressive autonomy.
What is known
Casio positions the WS1800 as sports watches in a retro style. The main design element is the wide graphic display, divided into two zones: the upper scale and the large main block, where time, date, and day of the week are displayed. The case and strap are made of lightweight polymer, using spherical polymer glass, and the weight is only 41 grams. Buyers are offered three versions of the WS1800 — black, blue and green.
The watches feature water resistance up to 100 meters, making them suitable for swimming and active recreation. One of the key advantages is autonomy up to 10 years from the CR2025 battery — an indicator that Casio traditionally calls 'eternal' for its budget models.
The watches display world time (29 time zones, 48 cities), have a stopwatch, countdown timer, daily alarm, and LED backlight with an amber tint and afterglow.
The WS1800 is already available in the US and Europe for just $40.
