Samsung has introduced a new budget smartphone, the Galaxy A07 5G. The model will become one of the most affordable 5G devices from the company in 2026, but for now, it is only offered in Thailand and Myanmar, further confirming 2025 Smartphone Market Results: Apple Leads, Samsung Shows Great Results, and Xiaomi Demonstrates Stability.

What is known

The Galaxy A07 5G retained the design of its predecessor: a drop-shaped notch, a plastic body, and noticeable bezels. The main update is the 6.7” PLS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 800 nits, which sets the smartphone apart from budget models.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Configurations include 4, 6, or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, expandable with microSD cards.

The Galaxy A07 5G runs on Android 16, and Samsung plans to provide it with six major OS updates, which is a record for the budget segment.

One of the key advantages of the smartphone will be its 6000mAh battery.
