The device will receive two colors with an unusual design of the back panel, a triple main camera, backlight, and special buttons for games. They will hide in the right side part of the case, like in Black Shark 4 smartphones. By the way, according to the company, such buttons will withstand 1.5 million clicks. When activated, the device will immediately switch to the maximum performance mode.

As for the hardware, Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will get an octa-core 6-nanometer MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. The new product is also attributed a Samsung AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a small cutout for the front camera, as well as a 5000 mAh battery with fast 67-watt charging.

Price and when to expect

Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will be announced in China next week. The smartphone should cost up to $400.
