Intralogistics of the Future: Impressive Footage of Innovative Filics Units Forklift Robots Released
A remarkable video has surfaced online showcasing the operation of the Filics Units robotic platform, which can significantly simplify logistics in large warehouses.
The unique system from the German company Filics was introduced in 2024 and is currently being tested in a logistics hub in Schweitenkirchen, Germany.
Filics Units is a new generation of warehouse robots capable of operating where traditional solutions struggle: in narrow aisles, with non-standard pallets, and under personnel shortages. Its unique design makes the system one of the most promising solutions in the field of intralogistics.
What is Known
The published footage shows the operation of autonomous Filics Units robots — compact platforms for pallet transportation that use a unique double runner system. They fully drive under European pallets, including non-standard cargo platforms, and use omnidirectional drive to lift the cargo and smoothly transport it to the designated point.

It is noteworthy that the system has a zero-turn radius, allowing it to work even in narrow aisles; the robot drives through the cargo frames, loading and unloading pallets from any side without maneuvers.
Bright illumination virtually eliminates the likelihood of a person colliding with Filics Units.
Using such technology reduces the workload on personnel, who typically perform these tasks manually.
