We have already reported that after a successful release, Major Problems Battlefield 6: Shooter Lost 80% of Players on Steam, and Its Rating is Rapidly Declining — on Steam, the game has lost more than 80% of its active audience. Optimistic gamers hoped that the second season, which was supposed to start in January, would give new life to the shooter, but developers have bad news.

What is known

Electronic Arts announced that the second season of Battlefield 6 will start a month later than expected — on February 17. The authors state that the additional time will be used to improve the planned content.

To keep players engaged, a small update will be released on January 20, which will add weekly challenges, a bonus path, and continuation for the battle pass, featuring new free and premium customization items, including a weapon set and an additional skin for the vehicle.

It goes without saying that in the absence of regular content support and major updates, any service game will face a decline in audience interest, and the problems of Battlefield 6 may worsen even further.

Battlefield 6 is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
