Apple announced a new Creator Studio subscription that will combine popular offers for creative and professional tasks and provide access to them through a single payment.

What is known

Creator Studio will launch on January 28 and will include the following applications:

  • Final Cut Pro (Mac and iPad);
  • Logic Pro (Mac and iPad);
  • Pixelmator Pro (Mac and iPad);
  • Motion, Compressor, and MainStage utilities (Mac).

The subscription expands the capabilities of office applications Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, which will feature premium templates and image generation tools based on OpenAI models.

The cost of the Apple Creator Studio subscription will be $12.99 per month or $129 per year.

The company will retain the option to purchase apps in the Mac App Store via a one-time payment: Final Cut Pro will cost $300, Logic Pro — $20, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, and Compressor — $50 each, and MainStage — $30.

Interestingly, at the launch of Creator Studio, iPad users will be given access to Pixelmator Pro for the first time, and tablet owners running on A16, A17 Pro, and M-series chips will receive a 3-month trial period.
