Google has not yet announced the annual update of its mid-range smartphone, but the specifications of the Pixel 10a are already appearing online, and now the exact release date is known.

What is known

Insider and editor of the German portal WinFuture Roland Quandt reported that the new Pixel will go on sale in February, and the website Droid-Life even indicated the exact date — February 17. This is significantly earlier than expected, since, for example, in 2025 Google introduced the Pixel 9a in March and released it in April.

Roland Quandt clarified that the Google Pixel 10a will have storage of 128/256 GB and will be available in the colors Obsidian, Berry, Fog, and Lavender.

According to previous leaks, the Pixel 10a is almost indistinguishable externally from the 9a: flat plastic back panel, dual camera, thick bezels, and proprietary button layout — the volume control under the power button, which is unique for Google smartphones.

It is expected that the Google Pixel 10a will be more compact but thicker than the Pixel 9a, with dimensions of 153.9 × 72.9 × 9 mm. The smartphone will be equipped with a 6.2" P-OLED screen with a resolution of 2424 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

Most likely, the Pixel 10a will run on the Google Tensor G4 chipset, possibly an "overclocked" version, as the G5 would be too expensive for a budget version.

The device will have a 5100 mAh battery, 23W wired charging, and 7.5W wireless charging.

It is expected that Google will provide the smartphone with 7 years of support and security patches.
