This is unheard of: HKC introduced the world's first 8K Mini-LED monitor with 2000 dimming zones
The Chinese company HKC continues to amaze with truly innovative monitors. Recall, in the summer of 2025, it announced a Cybersport has never seen anything like it: the world's first 800Hz gamer monitor unveiled, and now the manufacturer has introduced the world’s first model with 8K resolution and Mini-LED technology.
What's known
At CES 2026, journalists were shown the 8K Creator MNT monitor with a diagonal of 37" (to be precise, 36.5") with a peak brightness of 1800 nits and 2000 local dimming zones with improved algorithms and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
Currently, the 8K Creator MNT is a demonstration model with no release date or price, but it is clear that HKC's novelty will appear on sale in the foreseeable future and it will certainly not be cheap.
