Škoda unveiled the name of the flagship electric SUV
The flagship electric SUV Škoda will be called Peaq. The world premiere of the model is scheduled for summer 2026.
What is known
Škoda Peaq is based on the Vision 7S concept, presented more than three years ago. According to the automaker, the name emphasizes the vehicle's position at the top of the Czech brand's lineup.
Peaq is conceived as a seven-seat electric car for those who value versatility - a combination of everyday use, leisure, and travel. Škoda notes that the model will rely on the brand's key values: spaciousness, practicality, and comfort, as well as signature Simply Clever solutions.
The characteristics of the new model and prices are not yet disclosed.
Škoda Auto sales and marketing board member Martin Jahn said that with the Vision 7S concept, the company ventured into new territory and formed a clear vision for the brand's development. According to him, the new flagship elevates values such as spaciousness and practicality to a fundamentally new level, and the name Peaq indicates the car's place in Škoda's portfolio and signifies the brand's electric future direction.
