In 2026, Fender will release a version of the Fender Play app for Samsung TVs. It is expected to become available in the first half of the year, only for models released from 2025.

What's known

On Samsung TV, you will be able to take video lessons on playing electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and ukulele. Lessons are designed for different skill levels and are based on famous music compositions. The app also has a Jam Mode for playing along with themed playlists.

Previously, Fender Play was available through the App Store and Google Play, as well as through Apple TV or Chromecast. Now launching the app directly from the Samsung TV home screen will simplify access to lessons.

Fender Play has been operating since 2017. The subscription costs $20 per month or $150 per year. A seven-day trial period is offered. Support for older TV models is not announced at this time.
