Amazon's film division continues to share news about its series based on iconic gaming franchises.
Shortly after it was announced that Thor to Play Kratos: Amazon Reveals Lead Actor for God of War Series, the company unveiled the first photo of the "new" Lara Croft.

Fans will easily recognize every element of Lara's look: short shorts, a tight-fitting tank top, and aviator sunglasses. Of course, there will still be debates online for a long time about who looks better: Angelina Jolie, Alicia Vikander, or Sophie Turner, but the truth is, each of them had their time, and now it's Sophie Turner's time.
The premiere dates for Tomb Raider are still unknown, but filming for the first season starts on January 19, so we can expect Lara Croft's debut on Prime Video in 2027, coinciding with the release of the new game Tomb Raider: Catalyst.
