Renowned analyst revealed the main characteristics of iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Fold
Renowned analyst Jeff Pu shared detailed information about the specifications of three flagship Apple smartphones in 2026 — the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and an unusual foldable gadget (likely the iPhone Fold) that will have a 4:3 aspect ratio when unfolded.
What's Known
According to Pu, all three new products will be released in the fall, will receive 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, an Apple-developed C2 modem, and an A20 Pro chipset manufactured with a 2-nm process.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will offer displays with diagonals of 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively, and will generally be similar to the previous generation models.
Apple will equip them with Face ID support, and the Dynamic Island cutout will be slightly reduced.
Like the 2025 flagships, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will have main cameras with 48 MP sensors, and the older model will feature a periscope telephoto lens.
As for the iPhone Fold, Jeff Pu confirmed the information that Really square and without a crease! Insider showed live photos of iPhone Fold (or its mockup). Instead of Face ID, Touch ID will be used, and the body will be made of titanium and aluminum.
According to the analyst, Apple plans to ship up to 250 million new iPhones by the end of 2026 and is not afraid of a global smartphone market crisis.
