Anthropic has expanded access to its Claude Cowork tool. Now not only Max subscribers, who pay from $100 per month, but also Pro plan owners for $20 can use it.

What is known

Claude Cowork is an AI-based assistant that can perform simple actions on a user's computer. With a macOS device and the Claude app installed, the tool can create documents based on saved files or organize folders. It is an updated version that supports a Chrome plugin and interacts with other applications.

As part of expanded access, the company implemented changes based on user feedback. The ability to rename sessions was added, file preview improved, stability with other applications enhanced, and confirmation before deleting files is now required.

The feature is available for macOS users with a paid subscription. There is currently no information about support for other platforms.
