Rumor: The final part of Star Wars Jedi will be released in 2026
A few years ago, Respawn Entertainment confirmed that the Star Wars Jedi series was initially planned as a trilogy, and the lead actor Cameron Monaghan reported that he is involved in the motion capture and voice acting of the third part.
The sequel with the subtitle Survivor was released in 2023 and so far the developers have not presented the final chapter of Cal Kestis' story, but there is information that fans will soon get a continuation.
What is known
Co-host of the Kinda Funny Games podcast, Tim Gettys, shared an insider/assumption that the third Star Wars Jedi game will be released in 2026.
He expects that the action announcement could happen on May 4th — Star Wars Day, but it will definitely occur before the Summer Game Fest, and the release may take place in September.
It should be noted that significant changes may occur with the new game in the series, as the game director Stig Asmussen left the team, and Respawn Entertainment leader Vince Zampella recently passed away in a car accident, having previously devoted several years to Battlefield 6.
