In reality, everything is fine (probably) with the most anticipated game in the industry’s history.
What is known
Today a fire occurred in the office of Rockstar North in Edinburgh, which is directly involved in the development of GTA VI. It is reported that early in the morning, emergency services received a report of a fire at the Rockstar building. Several fire brigades arrived at the scene, contained the flames, and ensured no one was harmed. According to the media, the incident was caused by an explosion, likely a boiler.
Rockstar North studio has not yet commented on the situation, and it is unknown what the consequences of the fire are and whether they will affect the completion of work on Grand Theft Auto VI, the release of which is scheduled for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
