Honor introduced the Magic 8 Pro Air — a smartphone that combines a record-thin body with flagship characteristics. The device's thickness is only 6.1 mm, making it one of the thinnest gadgets on the market.

What is known

The Honor Magic 8 Pro Air features a compact by modern standards 6.3” OLED display with brightness up to 1800 nits and refresh rate up to 120 Hz, a new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage.

The main camera is represented by a 50 MP module with optical stabilization, complemented by a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 64 MP telephoto lens with 3.2x optical zoom. The front camera also has a resolution of 50 MP.

Despite the record-low thickness, Honor equipped the smartphone with a 5500 mAh battery, which surpasses many modern flagships. It supports fast wired charging with a power of 80 W and wireless charging at 50 W. The body is made of soft aluminum, capable of withstanding loads up to 530 MPa — the company assures that the device will not deform during everyday use.

The novelty supports 5G, Bluetooth 6, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, eSIM, and comes with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

The Magic 8 Pro Air is presented in four colors: Light Orange, Fairy Purple, Feather White, and Shadow Black. The starting price of the model is $717 (converted from yuan) for the 12/128 GB version.

The global launch of the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air has not yet been officially announced, but it may take place in 1-2 months.
