Edifier has introduced the portable Bluetooth speaker M330 II — an updated version of its retro range with improved sound, extended connectivity options, and increased autonomy.

What's known

The Edifier M330 II features a signature retro design with a wooden case made of 12-mm MDF, a fabric grill, and mechanical control buttons. For easy carrying, there's a hidden handle on the back panel. The speaker is available in three colors: wood, black walnut, and pearl white.

Inside is a 2.1-channel acoustic system with two 1” tweeters and a 4” woofer, operating through Texas Instruments TAS5805 amplifiers. The manufacturer claims support for Hi-Res Audio and an extended frequency range up to 40 kHz.

The stated power output is 60W with a peak value of 120W.

One of the key updates is the support for modern wireless technologies: the speaker has Bluetooth with LDAC codec and is compatible with Apple AirPlay 2, making it convenient for both Android and iOS users. High-quality audio is supported via both wireless and wired connections.

Autonomy has also increased: the M330 II can operate up to 14 hours on a single charge, which is significantly more compared to the previous generation.

The dimensions of the speaker are 250 x 162 x 179 mm.

The novelty is already available in China for $140 (converted from yuan).
