Volkswagen teases ID.4 GTX: a charged version of the electric crossover ID.4
Volkswagen showed ID.6 seven-seater electric crossover at the Shanghai show last week, and is now preparing to announce another new product.
What we know
The German automotive manufacturer has published a teaser of ID.4 GTX electric car. It will be a charged version of the ID.4 crossover, which debuted last September. The new car will feature red coloring, front and rear LED lights, and a combined power consumption of 19.8 to 18.1 kWh per 100 km. For comparison, the standard ID.4 consumes one and a half times less.
According to rumors, ID.4 GTX will have less travel range than ID.4. At the same time, the car will boast a more powerful electric motor, all-wheel drive and acceleration to a hundred in 6.2 seconds. The standard ID.4 has 8.5 seconds. We will find out other details about the new product during the world premiere, which will take place on April 28.
