Time to Steal Horses! EGS Gives Gamers Rustler - a Medieval Parody of GTA
The weekly giveaway has started on the Epic Games Store, and this time everyone can get the fun criminal action game Rustler (Grand Theft Horse), which is a parody of the mega-popular GTA franchise.
What is known
Rustler is an indie game that was released in 2021 and is technically designed in the style of the early GTA games: the player sees everything happening from above, can freely move around the open world, and complete tasks of varying degrees of legality. However, the feature of Rustler is that the game uses a medieval setting, so instead of cars — horses and carriages, police and national guard are replaced by guards, and crimes are committed by ordinary citizens and peasants armed with crossbows, bows, and clubs.
There are numerous references to modern culture and funny anachronisms in Rustler, for which the game has received good reviews.
