Media: Apple is developing its first wearable AI device with a wide range of sensors
The wearable AI device market is just emerging, but Apple does not intend to give competitors a head start and is already developing its first project in this segment — as reported by The Information.
What is known
According to journalists, the American corporation may present its device, similar to an AI Pin, as early as 2027.
It will be a small “badge” made of glass and aluminum with a built-in AI assistant. The form factor of the novelty resembles the AirTag and will have one physical button, a speaker, three microphones, and two cameras — standard and ultra-wide-angle lenses. Such a set of sensors will allow the AI to navigate in space and provide the most up-to-date information to its owner.
At the moment, the device is at an early stage of development. It is quite possible that the gadget will use Apple's own chatbot based on Siri and codenamed Campos.
