The affordable Realme P4 Power smartphone with a 10001 mAh battery and record-bright display unveiled
Realme introduced the P4 Power — a smartphone with impressive battery life, record display brightness, and an attractive price.
What is known
The Realme P4 Power features a 6.8” AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 1280×2800 pixels, and a peak brightness of 6500 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, and the body has IP69 protection and military-standard ruggedness.
In terms of performance, the gadget is not the most powerful, as it is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset (4 nm, up to 2.6 GHz) paired with the proprietary HyperVision+ AI processor. The device is available in configurations of 8/128 GB and 12/256 GB with LPDDR4X memory and UFS 3.1 storage.
The model comes with a 10,000 mAh battery based on silicon-carbon technology, designed for 1650 charge cycles and retaining up to 80% capacity after eight years of use. According to Realme, the smartphone provides up to 32 hours of YouTube viewing, 21 hours of navigation, and 12 hours of gaming, and with 5% charge, it can work for up to four more hours in call mode. It supports 80W fast charging, which can recharge half of the capacity in 36 minutes, as well as 27W reverse wired charging.
Despite the huge battery, the smartphone weighs 219 g and has a thickness of 9.08 mm, making it one of the most compact devices in its class.
The main camera of Realme P4 Power features a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor with optical stabilization, complemented by an 8 MP ultra-wide module. The front camera is 16 MP.
The Realme P4 Power's sales launch is set for February 5, initially only in India. Prices start from $305 for the base version. A global release has not been announced yet, but might be reported later.
