Bethesda invites to the Wasteland: all Fallout 76 content is temporarily free
Bethesda is offering free access to Fallout 76 — once failed, now a popular multiplayer RPG-shooter.
What is known
On PC and Xbox, the free weekend is valid until February 5, while PlayStation users can explore the Wasteland until February 4. Players have access to all game content without restrictions, and progress can be transferred to the full version of Fallout 76. By the way, there is currently a major 80% discount on the standard edition of the game.
Recall that Fallout 76 was released in 2018 and was in an absolutely terrible technical state, and offered dull and uninteresting content. However, with each update, Bethesda corrected its own mistakes and filled the game with interesting activities, also adding full-fledged NPCs, and now the game enjoys great popularity, which only grows with each year. So, the latest major expansion Burning Springs, in which gamers could go to Ohio, meet the Ghoul, and defeat the super mutant dictator, was released in December.
Most likely, the free weekend is aimed at newcomers who became interested in the franchise after the Fallout series from Amazon.
