Introduced the budget sub-flagship Realme 16 with a compact body, minimalist design, and... a mirror
The presentation of the new budget sub-flagship Realme 16 took place. It expands the lineup of the Chinese brand, which already includes Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+, which went on sale at the beginning of January.
What is known
Realme 16 received a 6.57” AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4500 nits.
The smartphone has thin bezels, and the back panel is designed in Realme's signature style with a wide horizontal camera strip reminiscent of Pixel's design. The body also has a small mirror, which allows the main camera module to be used for selfies.
Performance is provided by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chip, which ensures smooth operation of the interface and applications, complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of built-in storage.
The main camera uses a 50 MP sensor, complemented by auxiliary modules.
One of the key advantages of Realme 16 is the 7000 mAh battery — one of the largest in its segment. This makes the smartphone oriented towards users who value maximum autonomy. The device runs on Android 14 with Realme UI and supports fast charging.
The smartphone is offered in White Swan and Black Cloud colors.
Realme 16 is already on sale in the first market — this time in Vietnam at a price of $443 for the 8/256 GB version and $481 for the 12/256 GB version (converted from Vietnamese dong).
Realme 16 is expected to appear in other countries soon.
