The date of presentation and a number of characteristics of the compact sub-flagship iQOO 15R has been announced
The Chinese brand iQOO has begun revealing information about its new compact sub-flagship 15R, which will be presented on February 24, 2026.
What is known
It is officially confirmed that the iQOO 15R will be equipped with a 7600 mAh battery with a body thickness of only 7.9 mm. The gadget will be based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, complemented by the Q2 graphics chip — this combination will allow the smartphone to run some games at 144 FPS, and it scored 3.5 million points in AnTuTu.

The device will be updated for six years, during which it will receive four major OS updates (it will definitely get Android 20).
Possibly, the iQOO 15R could be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, announced earlier this month in China, so the same characteristics can be expected: a 6.59” AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 5000 nits. In the camera module, we may see a main sensor with 200 MP.
The iQOO 15R page on Amazon states that the smartphone will be released in a price segment of ~$550 (converted from rupees).
