Powerful portable console Ayaneo Pocket S Mini for retro gaming fans is now available for purchase
Last week, Ayaneo announced the compact portable console Pocket S Mini for retro gaming enthusiasts, aimed at retro gaming fans, and it is now available for sale.
What is known
The Pocket S Mini is built on the Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 chipset and features a 4.2” IPS screen with a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is perfect for games from the SNES, PS1, GBA era and other systems optimized for a square format.
The gadget is equipped with 8, 12, or 16 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM and a storage capacity of 128 to 512 GB UFS 4.0 standard (except for the junior version), as well as a powerful air cooling system.
A 4700 mAh battery will allow for long gaming sessions. Importantly, the sticks are equipped with Hall effect technology, which eliminates their slip and increases durability.
Ayaneo has provided a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, a microSD card slot, and a fingerprint scanner.
The console runs on Android 14 and is available in black and white, as well as in Retro Power - an exclusive nostalgic retro color scheme, available only for the top configuration (16/512).
