OnePlus 16 may surprise: it is credited with two 200 MP cameras, a next-generation 240 Hz OLED display, and a 9000 mAh battery
The first information about the flagship smartphone OnePlus 16 has appeared online, whose release is expected only at the end of 2026, but what is already known is causing great interest.
What is known
According to insiders, OnePlus 16 will surpass the top model of this brand in all respects. It will be among the first smartphones with two 200 MP sensors, will receive a new fifth-generation OLED screen from BOE with the same resolution as OnePlus 15 (1.5K), but the refresh rate will increase from 165 to 240 Hz.
The Chinese company will equip the novelty with a 9000 mAh battery that will support 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
OnePlus 16 is expected to be based on the Revolution of Mobile Chips: 2-nm Chipset Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro Can Accelerate to 5–6 GHz, supplemented with LPDDR6 memory and UFS 4.1 standard storage, and will also receive an improved ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a powerful vibration motor O916T, and stereo speakers.
Judging from the presented information, the OnePlus 16 will be a fascinating flagship, but a lot could change by fall 2026, for better or for worse.
