Mickey Mouse for adults: 12 minutes of gameplay of the stylish shooter Mouse: P.I. For Hire presented
The portal IGN published an exclusive gameplay video of the noir shooter Mouse: P.I. For Hire from the Polish indie studio Fumi Games.
What is known
Viewers were shown 12 minutes of gameplay of Mouse: P.I. For Hire, during which they can appreciate almost every element of the game, made in the visual aesthetics of Disney cartoons from the 1930s.
In the video, the protagonist managed to dance with a beautiful mouse in glasses, explore unusual locations made in 2D, and engage in a shootout with New York criminals, represented by anthropomorphic animals.
Gamers can also appreciate the wide range of firearms and the overall gameplay dynamics of Mouse: P.I. For Hire.
Recall, the game harmoniously combines classic American animation with a dark story about corruption, organized crime, and the personal demons of the main character Mouse: P.I. For Hire, Jack Pepper — a private detective who opposes bandits and corrupt authorities. He will be voiced by Troy Baker, whose voice speaks the most important characters of iconic games, for example, Joel from The Last of Us, Higgs from Death Stranding, and the protagonist in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
The aesthetics and plot of Mouse: P.I. For Hire are perfectly highlighted by the jazz music characteristic of the 30s.
When to expect
The release of Mouse: P.I. For Hire will take place on March 19, 2026, on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
