Hollow Knight received a native version for Nintendo Switch 2
During the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, Team Cherry announced the release of the Hollow Knight version for Nintendo Switch 2.
What is known
Users of the new hybrid console could previously launch the cult Metroidvania of 2017 through backward compatibility, but now they have access to a native version with higher resolution, better performance, and support for all Switch 2 features.
All who purchased Hollow Knight on the first Switch will receive the updated version for free, provided they have Switch 2 or transition to it, while new players can purchase the game for just $15.
The release of Hollow Knight – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is a great reason to refresh your memory or get acquainted for the first time with one of the most atmospheric games of the past decade, but you should be prepared for a high level of difficulty (although it is not as hardcore as Hollow Knight: Silksong).
