A commercially failed Cybertruck found a worthy use — now it will put out fires in Florida
The futuristic electric pickup Musk, it's a fiasco! Analysts highlighted a grand failure in the sales of the Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup — this was acknowledged by analysts and, indirectly, by the manufacturer. Buyers are dissatisfied with both the quality of the car and its price, preferring conventional gasoline/diesel pickups, which are much cheaper.
But perhaps the lifeline for Elon Musk's company will be thrown by firefighters.
What is known
The fire department of Lake Alfred, Florida, has purchased a Tesla Cybertruck, which is planned to be used for fighting forest fires or as a mobile headquarters.
It is stated that the electric vehicle will be equipped with a 150-gallon (570 l) water tank and will be used as a Brush truck — a light fire truck for extinguishing natural fires where regular fire equipment cannot pass.

The head of the Lake Alfred fire department believes that the Cybertruck is an excellent choice because, besides being quite mobile, the cost of the electric vehicle is significantly lower than the cost of a gasoline Brush truck — $131k versus $300k.
Currently, the vehicle is being refitted and will soon start firefighting. Possibly, if the modified Cybertruck proves itself well, other fire departments in the US will start using it.
