Asus has released the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Gen 3 gaming monitor — the new (third) generation of its 32” 4K-QD-OLED lineup.

What's known

The monitor features the most advanced 32” QD-OLED panel with 4K resolution, a 240 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1000 nits in HDR mode, which is significantly higher than the previous generation.

The response time is 0.03 ms, making the device suitable for esports disciplines and fast-paced competitive games.

One of the key innovations is the BlackShield film, which increases panel rigidity and protects it from damage. In addition, it eliminates the characteristic purple tint of QD-OLED under external lighting and makes black color visually deeper. The monitor is certified with DisplayHDR 500 True Black, which is an improvement over the previous version certified under HDR 400 True Black.

The available interfaces include DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20, USB-C with 90W power delivery, as well as support for adaptive sync technologies. The device is also equipped with the OLED Care Pro system to protect the panel from burn-in.
