Sony flagship headphones to get top processor and improved ANC: insider reveals detailed specs and prices of the WF‑1000XM6 model

What is known
A few days ago, the Taiwanese retailer Power Buy Leak reveals updated design of flagship TWS headphones Sony WF-1000XM6, but now the Dealabs portal has provided not only European prices but also detailed specifications of the headphones.
The model will receive a serious set of technical updates, expanded features, and improved ergonomics.
The WF‑1000XM6 headphones will offer a more extensive update than what happened when transitioning from XM4 to XM5:
- a new QN3e processor three times faster than the previous one provides more stable and deeper noise cancellation;
- eight adaptive microphones instead of six will further improve ANC performance and call quality;
- an updated driver, DAC, and amplifier will enhance sound detail and clarity;
- an optimized body shape and improved ventilation will make long-term wear more comfortable.
The WF‑1000XM6 headphones will receive expanded features:
- 360 Reality Audio with head tracking;
- a smarter Ambient Mode with three automatic profiles;
- full support for LE Audio and Auracast;
- a 10-band equalizer.
As for additional features of the WF‑1000XM6, billbil-kun reports support for bone conduction, which allows leaving the ear canal open to surrounding noise, beamforming function (advanced sound positioning), wind protection and improved AI processing. The headphones will get 8 hours of autonomy, and with the charging case, an additional 16 hours will be added. The new Sony product supports fast and wireless charging, as well as touch and voice control and smart gestures.
The headphones will have water and dust protection according to the IPX4 standard.
The Sony Sound Connect app will be used for fine-tuning the headphones.
The flagship TWS headphones from Sony will cost €299.99/ $329.99. Initially, two colors will be offered — black and silver.
The package includes a wireless charging case, a USB-C cable, and 4 pairs of tips of different sizes (SS, S, M, L).
The sale of the headphones will start immediately after the presentation — February 12.
