Evolution impresses: Capcom shows how Zombies have changed over thirty years of Resident Evil development
In the coming weeks, Resident Evil fans expect two landmark events: the release of a new installment titled Requiem and the thirtieth anniversary of the iconic zombie horror franchise.
Capcom is actively fueling gamers' interest and releasing a lot of materials.
What is known
The Japanese developer published an intriguing video on social networks showcasing the 30-year evolution of zombies in Resident Evil games.
Viewers were shown the main monsters, from the ridiculous pixel creatures faced by Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy, and Jill Valentine in the first games to the highly detailed lovers of human flesh encountered by gamers in modern remakes, and even a brand new Infected from Resident Evil Requiem.
The clip excellently shows the progress in the technical and artistic design of the Resident Evil series.
Though once human, they're now mere shadows of their former selves...
