Apple may soon unveil the iPhone 17e: updates to key features expected without a price increase
Apple is preparing to present the new iPhone 17e smartphone. According to Mark Gurman in the latest edition of Power On, the device will appear soon and cost $600, like the previous model.
What is known
iPhone 17e will feature the A19 processor, which is also used in the base iPhone 17, as well as support for MagSafe charging. The device is equipped with new Apple-branded chips for cellular and wireless technologies.
The model is positioned as the successor to the iPhone 16e, announced about a year ago. Apple is expected to promote the iPhone 17e in highly competitive regions, including the markets of China and India. Corporate clients are also in the company's focus.
According to Gurman, the iPhone 17e will compete with Google's new Pixel 10a in the affordable smartphone segment. The company is counting on sales growth in Asian markets and is already seeing positive dynamics in China.
