Samsung revealed all the details of the new budget smartphone Galaxy F70e 5G, including the price and the start date of sales.
What is known
The company reported that the Galaxy F70e 5G will go on sale on February 17, but only in India for now, with a price of $150 for the 4/128 GB version and $168 for the 6/128 GB version.
The smartphone is targeted at the affordable segment, yet it offers a number of features commonly found in more expensive models.
Galaxy F70e 5G features a 6.7” display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a teardrop notch for the front camera.
The performance is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, and the memory capacity is 4 or 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD.
The main camera is represented by a 50 MP module, complemented by a 2 MP depth sensor, and the front camera has an 8 MP resolution.
One of the key advantages of the device is a 6000 mAh battery with 25W wired charging support.
The rear panel of the Galaxy F70e 5G is made of vegan leather-textured material, and the body is IP54-rated for dust and splash protection. The smartphone will be available in two colors — Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue.
Samsung promises long-term software support: the Galaxy F70e 5G will launch on Android 16 with One UI 8 and will receive six major OS updates and six years of security patches — a rarity for the budget segment.
