Sales of the stylish gaming smartphone RedMagic 11 Air, which was released in China in mid-January, have started in the global market.
What's Known
Before us is a rare case where the gadget appeared outside of China without any changes. The international version of the RedMagic 11 Air is also equipped with a 6.85” AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The 16 MP front camera is placed under the screen, providing a "true full screen" effect without notches and holes.
The performance is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite (not Gen 5) chipset paired with an additional RedMagic Redcore R4 GPU, ensuring high performance in games.
The cooling system includes an active turbo fan, an enlarged vapor chamber, and graphene layers, which reduce heating during long gaming sessions.
The RedMagic 11 Air has a 7000 mAh battery, which provides long battery life even under heavy load. The smartphone supports fast 100W charging and bypass charging. These battery indicators still allowed it to be housed in a 7.8 mm thick body.
The smartphone is available in configurations up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of built-in storage, supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and also has an IR port.
The novelty comes with Android 16 with the RedMagic OS 11.0 shell and has deep integration with Google Gemini AI assistant.
Prices start at €500 for the 12/512 GB version.
