Amazon showed the first trailer for the stylish series "Spider-Noir" starring Nicolas Cage
Sony Pictures and Amazon presented the first trailer for the series "Spider-Noir", which is based on one of the most unusual and conceptual comic book series about Spider-Man from Marvel.
What is known
As already known, the main role in "Spider-Noir" will be played by Hollywood star and Oscar winner Nicolas Cage. Notably, this is his first central role in a series in his career.
The events of "Spider-Noir" unfold in New York during the Great Depression, and the superhero abilities in this story belong to the unlucky detective Ben Reilly, who will confront the sins of his past as the city's only superhero.
Interestingly, the series will be released immediately in two versions: authentic black-and-white and full-color. The atmosphere of the project is emphasized by the slogan: "With no power comes no responsibility," which is the absolute opposite of Uncle Ben's words from the original Spider-Man franchise.
The series will be released on the Prime Video platform on May 27, 2026. All episodes will be available to viewers right away.
