Thermaltake, which mainly manufactures cooling systems for processors, introduced the ultra-wide monitor TGM‑V49CDQ with a highly unconventional 32:9 aspect ratio.

What is known

The monitor is built on a 49” VA panel with a curvature that provides a fully immersive effect. The DQHD resolution (5120 x 1440) is equivalent to two 27” QHD monitors combined into one screen. The refresh rate reaches 240 Hz, and the response time is 1 ms GTG thanks to Fast VA technology. The brightness is claimed to be 400 nits, with HDR10 support, 10-bit color, and 95% DCI‑P3 color gamut coverage.
