Few changes, but they will be: insider revealed detailed specifications, colors and price of Google Pixel 10a
Renders were presented a few days before the official announcement and detailed specifications of the Google Pixel 10a smartphone became known. According to information provided by German insider Roland Quandt, the device will receive moderate but noticeable updates, while maintaining its budget-friendly nature.
What is known
Pixel 10a is equipped with a 6.3” Plastic OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2424×1080 pixels. The body has IP68 protection and a new Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protective coating, replacing the outdated Gorilla Glass 3.
The smartphone will once again be based on the Google Tensor G4 chipset with an 8-core CPU up to 3.1 GHz. Memory configurations include 8 GB LPDDR5X and 128/256 GB UFS 3.1 flash memory with no expansion option.
The cameras of the novelty have not changed: a main 48 MP and an ultra-wide-angle 13 MP, support for video up to 4K at 60 FPS, however, the camera module is now completely flush with the body and lacks a slight protrusion.
One of the key updates is the support of Bluetooth 6.0. In addition, Pixel 10a has received accelerated wired charging with a power of 45 W (the 2025 model had 23 W). However, the preliminary specifications do not mention wireless charging, which was present in Pixel 9a—it remains unclear whether Google has abandoned this feature.
The battery capacity will also remain unchanged at 5100 mAh.
Google Pixel 10a will be released with Android 16 and will be updated for 7 years.
Google will officially present the Pixel 10a on February 18, and it will immediately go on sale at a price starting from €499 (the same price was for Google Pixel 9a). As part of the pre-order, the 256 GB version will be offered at the price of the 128 GB model, although later it will cost €600. Available colors are Obsidian, Fog, Lavender, and Berry.
