Honor has released a new budget tablet Pad X8b, aimed at users who value a large screen, long battery life, and an affordable price.

What's known

The tablet is equipped with an 11” IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, brightness up to 500 nits, and TÜV Rheinland certification for reduced flicker and blue light.

Performance is powered by a 6-nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, released back in 2021, supplemented by 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage. The storage can be expanded with a microSD card up to 2 TB.

One of the key features of the device is a battery with a capacity of 10,100 mAh, providing up to 22 hours of video playback and up to 97 days of standby mode.

The Honor Pad X8b features a metal body with a thickness of 7.5 mm and a weight of about 496 g, two 5 MP cameras, four speakers, and a pre-installed Android 16 system with MagicOS 10.

Yes, the gadget has modest specifications, but the tablet price is only $175, making it one of the most affordable devices with such autonomy and screen diagonal.
