Konami has announced the release date of the funny action-platformer Darwin's Paradox! and offers to try its demo version
Publisher Konami and French ZDT Studio have revealed the release date of the funny action-platformer Darwin's Paradox!, which will tell the story of the adventures of the energetic Octopus Darwin.
What is known
The new trailer is interesting for three reasons:
- It announced that the release date of Darwin's Paradox! is April 2nd on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
- Everyone can already check out the free demo version, which is available on all platforms.
- Konami didn't miss the chance to remind about one of its key franchises, so in the Darwin's Paradox! trailer you can see several references to Metal Gear Solid, and the cephalopod protagonist can hide from enemies in cardboard boxes, just like Snake did.
Let's recall, Darwin's Paradox! is a humorous 2D platformer, with the main character being an Octopus. He finds himself on land, discovers that one of the corporations uses his kin for food and ink production, becomes furious, and tries to stop the work process, and later return home.
The authors will offer gamers creative levels and unusual puzzles that do not seem too complex, but perfectly complement the dynamic gameplay. Darwin uses his tentacles to climb vertical surfaces, and when in water, he moves at increased speed, allowing him to dodge set traps.
