On February 25, the Galaxy Unpacked presentation will take place, where, in addition to the Galaxy S26 flagship smartphone series, Samsung will present several other new products, including, according to insider information, the TWS earphones Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro.

Detailed information about the earphones, including renders and prices, has already appeared online, but German journalist Roland Quandt shared additional details.

What is known

Referring to a leak from one of the European retailers, Quandt confirms that Samsung didn't completely change the form factor: Buds4 and Buds4 Pro still use a design with a large “leg,” but the appearance is slightly refreshed. Visually, the models have become more tidy, and the materials more premium, as confirmed by high-quality renders.

The standard version of the Galaxy Buds 4 (SM-R540) has an open design and does not fully cover the ear canal, while both models are equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC).

The Pro version will provide up to 26 hours of battery life, including charging via the case, the basic version offers up to 24 hours of operation.

An important difference is that the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro has moisture and dust protection to the IP57 standard — they are not afraid of even brief immersion in water, whereas the more affordable model only has IP55 protection.

Another feature of the Galaxy Buds 4 series is the support for real-time call translation, but it's unknown how this technology works — probably not without artificial intelligence.

The new Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro earphones are expected to go on sale in black and white, and according to another reputable insider billbil-kun, they will cost €169 and €249.
